For the record, who's answering the interview?

ROARBACK

Hi. This is Kare (the drummer).

ATP

What is your band's name? How did you come up with that name?

ROARBACK

Our name is Roarback. The name actually just came out of nowhere. Since we were 5 members of the band, it took a while comming up with a name that we could all agree on, but we succeeded!

So who's in the band and what instruments do you each play?

ROARBACK

Dennis Ullehus - Vocals
Andreas Dix? - Guitar
Andreas Rohde - Guitar
Mikkel Stender - Bass
Kare Holm-Sorensen - Drums

How would you describe your sound. What makes you unique?

ROARBACK

I would describe our sound as oldschool and rough. One of the things that makes our sound unique is the quality of the recordings. Some would say that the quality of our recordings is bad. But that's whats makes our sound old school. The way our songs are written and played actually matches the quality of the recordings, and that's something that we are proud of. there is no bullshit, we aren't "try hards", we just play it old school.

What bands have influenced each of you?

ROARBACK

Dennis is influenced by Sepultura, Megadeth. Andreas and Andreas are influenced by Entombed (left hand path), Morbid Angel, Cannibal corpse (barnes), Slayer. Mikkels influences would be Cannibal corpse, slayer. And i get my influences from Slayer, Death, Entombed (left hand path), Pantera.

How experienced are you on the stage, a virgin or whore?

ROARBACK

Since we have been playing about 30 gigs over the past 2 years i would call us a whore band haha!

ATP

How would you describe your shows?

ROARBACK

Our shows are very "alive" but then again not. You know, a lot of band have these guitarists just flying around the stage pointing at the crowd, putting their feet on their monitors and so on. We don't have that. our guitarists stands the same place from beginning to end, headbanging none stop. That's a bit different from what we see almost everywhere. The one flying around is Dennis. Some times he actually joins the crowd in a vicious moshpit!

Tell us about your favorite show and why?

ROARBACK

We played at Dark Mental Festival in Copenhagen this April. according to my opinion, that would be our favorite show so far. First of all, the crowd was pleased with our music. Second of all, we all played flawless. And Dennis got in a fight in front of the stage during the moshpit!

Tell us about your worst show and why?

ROARBACK

That would be the winter last year. there was 15 people in the crowd, and they were all metalcorefans...

Tell Us About Your Dream Show, who you'd like to play with and where?

ROARBACK

Our dream show would be a show where some talent scout from the crowd saw us and signed our ass!

Do you have a street team and how can you join?

ROARBACK

The artist did not answer.

ATP

Do you have a record label and if not are you looking for one?

ROARBACK

We are negotiating as we speak, with a label. So we are about to find out.

ATP

What are your plans for the future, in a year, 5 years?

ROARBACK

We hope that we will get signed, and hopefully we can go on tour outside Denmark.
